"Da Rosary’s" small but great cuisine
At the warm and hospitable "da Rosary", the host welcomes you and offers her guests creativity together with the tastes and typical flavours of traditional Umbrian cuisine accompanied by her personal experience of Venetian cooking, her place of origin.
In her “small but great kitchen”, she delights in preparing special conserves to serve with Umbrian cheeses, delicious sauces for the bruschettas, Umbrian cheese pizzas, savoury quiches and tasty creative titbits. The sauces for the pasta of the first courses and meat dishes are prepared with passion and strictly on the spot with reinvented recipes. To finish off she loves to offer the distilled liqueurs made with herbs from her own garden.
The locally sourced ingredients, represent the gastronomical excellence of Umbria. The wine list is also a result of a careful selection of Umbrian labels of the best local producers.
A warm welcome attends the guests in the two small interior dining rooms of the Castle, furnished with tables and paintings of the 1800’s, antiques in copper and brass and antique Deruta ceramics making the two dining-rooms refined and intimate. During the summer evenings, guests can dine in the charming flower garden which overlooks the park of the Castle, surrounded by green countryside.
On request, dishes can be prepared for special dietary requirements.
By prior booking we can organise lunches and dinners based on fish, as well as special celebrations like christenings, confirmations, birthdays, etc.
